This workshop is open to dancers of all levels and will explore the stylization and music of modern tsiftiteli. Tsiftiteli is essentially belly dance in Greek, so this class will explore how the modern iteration of the dance is styled versus vintage. Students will learn two short choreos to one song by the iconic Marina Satti and another by Anastasia, both prominent women in Greek music right now.
